Articles with Keyword Rich Anchor Texts, Googlers keep saying these words so often that it’s almost more of a company slogan than Don’t be evil. Press releases stuffed with links where the anchor texts are perfect, that’s the latest big no no. Yet, Google keep doing this themselves?
A recent press release on Swedish PR-site Mynewsdesk from Google is literally packed with Keyword Rich Anchor Texts, actually one of the must stuffed releases this SEO consultant have seen in the past years.
This is a piece about new places in Google Street View in Sweden (all the links didn’t fit in my screenshot, have a look at the original for more Keyword Rich Anchor Texts). I can’t help feeling a bit violated when my childhood park, Mariebergsskogen i Karlstad, is being so blatantly spammed. Isn’t this EXACTLY what you told us not to do in your guidelines for quality, Mr Cutts?
To be honest, this is written by Googles PR agency in Sweden, JustPR. However, I’m certain that me buying Keyword Rich Anchor Text links from a PR agency would not go well in a reconsideration request and I do expect Google to hold their own suppliers to the same standards that they hold mine. You need to deal with this Matt Cutts, maybe have a real SEO give you a second opinion on your article marketing in Sweden.
